My client is a leading global investment bank who requires a Java Swing GUI developer to be responsible for the technical analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and implementation of code into Production. The coding will be in Java Swing, to build a complex GUI for use by traders, sales and operations.


Essentials:

Strong academics in a numerate or IT subject (2:1 or equivalent)
Strong Java and ability to write multithreaded client applications
SQL

Desirable:

A good understanding of FX and Money Markets
Linux
Talarian/ SmartSockets
Sybase
