My client is looking for strong Java/ J2EE developers with good level of experience with JSP, Servlet, EJBs, JMS, XML as well as web services (preferably web logic 9.0) (SOAP) for both Solaris, Linux and Windows platforms. These positions have come available due to continued team expansion and represent an amazing opportunity to gain a strong position at the cutting edge of development.
Knowledge in designing, developing, testing and implementation of server side J2EE application, including web services, is key. Expose to web logic 9.0 web services, Oracle, JDBC, SQL, Spring/ Hibernate and financial protocols for example FIX trade lifecycle will put a candidate at distinct advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially around technical design and testing strategy is desired. The successful candidates will meet with technologist from all levels as well as converse with colleague across Europe. My client is looking candidates with a strong academic background with a proven java based skills set. My client is a leading financial consultancy within the city and experience in an investment bank would be beneficial.
