This renowned and award winning Global IBM Business Partner specialising in High Availability solutions are currently looking to recruit an experienced UK based IBM pSeries / AIX Pre Sales Technical Consultant experience of successfully delivering technical design and pre sales consultancy to clients around IBM's System p5 server solutions, to come on board and capitalise on the strong demand for their IBM System p (pSeries) expertise across their prestigious client base in Europe. Technically, our client is looking for someone with experience of all Models of IBM p/ Series, AIX V5.3, HACMP, IBM POWER 5, Clustering and Storage. On a personal level we need someone who is client facing, professional, confident, commercially focussed to assist / mentor Sales team offering client solutions. Our client also needs someone who can offer hands-on technical skills for projects and client needs. Any of the following would secure your interview: ECHO Stream, ECHO Cluster, Replicate 1, and IBM p6 Servers. This is superb opportunity to be a leading Pre-Sales Technical Specialist with a consultancy well respected in the industry. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as they can be home based (anyone based in North of Oxford would be of particular interest).
