My client, a major Research firm, requires a Consumer Broadband (EMEA) focused Senior Analyst to be based out of their London office. The consumer research team conducts extensive primary research in the global impact of ubiquitous connectivity. They provide thought leadership to clients including network operators, service providers, consumer electronics manufacturers, applications vendors, advertising agencies and advertisers, content and content application providers, and the financial community.

The senior level analyst will focus on the evolution of consumer internet and communications services in EMEA. The analyst will possess expertise and strong interest in the technical, marketing, and competitive aspects of mobile, wireline and convergent services. The analyst will generate forward looking opinion on the changing dynamics of consumer services, inclusive of incumbent and emerging technologies.

Core job functions include:

Produce high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis of the consumer services market, focusing on Internet and communications services.
Deliver research, analysis and opinions at client strategy sessions, conferences, public forums and other appropriate channels.
Manage the delivery of consumer surveys, market forecasts and market monitoring instruments.
Deliver high quality analysis through consulting engagements and project assignments.
Assist sales and marketing organisations in identifying and securing new accounts and increase presence within existing accounts.
Develop strong relationships with service providers and vendors to establish well rounded understanding of consumer market dynamics.

Qualifications:

Several years experience working in or analysing the European Internet and/ or communications market and proven analytical written communications skills.
Dynamic public speaker.
Experience in forecasting and statistical analysis.
Ability to effectively convey opinions and analysis with senior-level executives.
Prior research and advisory experience preferred.
Solid understanding of Internet and communications network infrastructure and business models.
Strong sense of professional accountability and integrity.
