Configuration Analyst - London: A leading outsourcing supplier is looking to recruit a Configuration Analyst to join their London operation. An understanding of ITIL and any qualification in this area would be an advantage, however, training will be provided for the right candidate. To ensure a tight control over the impact of changes on the IT environments and the Business through the use, and develop, of the appropriate Change and Configuration Management processes. To ensure the effective impact analysis and scheduling of changes through careful checking of all change requests for mandatory detail prior to issuing to relevant impact assessors and approvers, which may include third parties. To ensure that the Business requirements are met by utilising the current processes whilst being proactive and diligent, with an attention to detail commensurate with the protection of a business with up to 30 million customers. Responsible for administering and facilitating Change Requests through the end to end ITIL Change Management Process. Contribute to the review of the Configuration Item level to meet the needs of the business. Assist in maintaining and improving the accuracy of the Configuration Management Database. Assist in maintaining centralised control of the Definitive Software Library
