Network Operations Manager
Our client provides integrated satellite and IT communication solutions world-wide and deliver reliable, secure, high speed wireless data and voice services at sea, roaming or fixed sites.
Our client is currently looking for a Network Operations Manager to be the technical expert within the Operations Department for all NOC (Network Operations Centre) activity, including Cruise IP (Maritime), Broad IP (Land), BGan POPs, Private Networks and similar products and services and to manage Operations department staff.
Network Operations Manager responsibilities:
+ To be Operations Department Technical Expert and Point of Contact for all existing NOC activity liaising with other departments, agents, customers etc
+ manage service delivery for DVB customers, ensuring that excellent Customer support is provided for all NOC related activity
+ To refer to the Systems Engineering Manager (Enterprise department) as Technical Design Authority to ensure that all NOC developments, enhancements, upgrade programmes etc are signed off by TDA before implementation
+ To be responsible for training of all staff involved with DVB Service support and the NOC facility enabling them to contribute effectively
+ To support Sales Department in its commercial activity with potential and existing customers
Network Operations Manager experience required:
+ Expertise in Network management and Satellite operations
+ Previous experience in management of staff and project implementation
+ Excellent Customer Service and Leadership Skills
+ Commercial awareness with an eye for detail
+ Cisco qualifications preferred
