Excellent Project Manager Opportunity based in Dorset.
We are looking for an experienced, assertive and confident Project Manager to join our clients Projects team based at their Head Quarters in Dorset. The successful candidate will be an accomplished Project or Program Manager with a wealth of customer facing experience, a high level of drive, dedication and determination. You should be focused on Project delivery, meeting deadlines and problem solving. You should have a competitive spirit with a keen eye for detail, with the aptitude and ability to exceed their customer expectations.
The department consists of 12 project managers, who are responsible for the management of Urban Traffic and Motorway Systems projects of all sizes and complexity for both the UK and overseas markets. You will be expected to plan, monitor and deliver all internal and external Projects to the required Time, Cost and Quality, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising opportunities for increased revenue. Projects will typically span 6-8 months, and range in value from £100k - £1m.
You must be educated to degree level or equivalent and either hold or be working towards PRINCE2 or APMP professional qualification.
You should have a proven track record in delivering successful projects, ideally within an IT-based or other technical field. You should have experience in dealing with multiple projects, varying in size, value and complexity. Experience in managing internal and external resources, addressing issues and resolving problems with minimal supervision is essential.
