My client is a highly successful online retail business with an excellent reputation. As part of ongoing recruitment to support their increasing profile and rapidly increasing business, they seek to take on a Graduate Oracle Developer at a senior level - good candidates at Technical lead level will be considered. Ideal candidates will have experience of working in 10g / 10gR2 although candidates with solid experience of 9i will also be considered.
You must have experience of Data Warehousing or the Star Schema approach to database design. As the client uses Unix-based Oracle, any Unix shell scripting experience is beneficial, and also familiarity with ETLs and Performance Tuning.
You must be aware of Oracle PL/ SQL best practice and be able to perform code reviews of other team members' development work. Strong design and communication skills are essential - you will be writing specifications for new developments and documenting existing systems.

You must be a confident communicator, educated to degree level. An OCA or OCP accreditation is beneficial but not essential.
