An outstanding opportunity has arisen at a leading investment bank for a skilled Java developer to join their strategic market data IT team. Working closely with the business the candidate will contribute to all stages of the project life cycle, working in partnership with the business in order to understand their system and market data requirements.
The successful candidate will be degree educated in a mathematical or scientific discipline with an excellent knowledge of core Java and J2EE. In addition, they must have a strong understanding of market data vendors such as Bloomberg or Reuters as well as strong SQL, XML and messaging (MQ Series/ TIBCO). Spring, Hibernate and Eclipse will also prove useful.
