Aston Carter is searching for system architect to join a dynamic and fast paced company based in Dublin.
You will be responsible to provide technical support and expertise for the development of a fast growing company. This will include being involved for the specification and design of the infrastructure while ensuring that performance and system integrity stays the same. The role will include working closely with the development team, isolate system issues, and design system changes. This position is a challenging position which will require the successful applicant to work with all the IT teams. Essential skills:
Strong grasp of computer systems, software, and networking, across a variety of platforms with experience in both MS-Windows and Linux.
Extensive design and development expertise in multi-threaded, distributed applications.
Proficiency in a broad array of technical skills including: operating systems, security, networking, fault-tolerance, transactional processing, large scale web applications on both IIS and Apache, databases, data structures, middleware, and client/ server enterprise application development.
Experience designing/ maintaining mission-critical, enterprise-scale systems is a necessity
