Identify process re-engineering opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness Proactively identify and investigate opportunities to re-engineer current processes across all functions
·Build the rationale for change and improvement by reviewing available data such as process performance MI, scheme member complaints, risk events, incidents and staff feedback and process reviews to identify current issues
·Apply knowledge of process architecture, creative thinking and analysis skills to translate current process issues into re-engineering and improvement opportunities·Redesign processes to deliver simplified, common processes to the business that match its true requirements, and address identified issues
·Present ideas and opportunities to Design Work-stream Lead and colleagues·Where supported, ensure that all parties are aware of the direction your design will take. Prepare any documentation required.
·Signoff functional requirements and approve the systems requirements documentation as meeting the needs of the programme and the business.Conduct Programme specific process re-engineering activities
Facilitate dedicated business and process analysis sessions and workshops with representative groups of key business users, to identify the true business requirements and issues
·Identify the root cause of the requirements identified in the mandate. Where appropriate, use Lean principles and the Six Sigma tools, including ‘as is' process mapping, data collection and data analysis
·Document the business requirements using a pre-defined template and format·Where appropriate, liaise with the Systems Analyst to ensure that business requirements are understood and sufficiently well defined in order to drive the development of accurate functional requirements
·Liaise with Technical Support and Compliance to obtain approval of ‘to be' solutions·Liaise with areas outside Pension Administration as the scope the of the change demands, e.g. HR, Finance, group functions etc.
·Validate solutions through proof reading, piloting, supporting the Project Manager in determining the size, scope and duration
·Assess the impact on BAU of any pilot and liaise with the Programme Management Office to schedule any BAU resource requiredBuild process and procedural information for specific a Pension Scheme and or Schemes in line with change
·Amend process and procedural information in line with implemented change, e.g. check lists, process maps, quick reference guides etc. documenting information consistently and accurately inline with change
·Assist and liaise with Business Analysts in ACA to align process and documentation between the two companies and across all functions
