We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Software Engineer to join our clients Software Development Department based at their Head Quarters in Poole.
To take on this exciting Senior Software Engineering challenge, you should have a wealth of Software development experience. This could be the ideal next step in your career. The role will involve assisting in the solution of technical issues as an individual, or for more complex issues as part of a group
Tasks
The key areas of responsibility for the Senior Software Engineer post will include:
•Taking an active role within exciting new developments
•Providing advice and assistance to customers
•Contributing directly to the technical solution and to the design
•Design, code, integrate, test and maintain central software systems.
•Software and platform development from a technical perspective
Knowledge/ Languages
Technical knowledge required:
•Programming techniques - the ideal candidate will be fully conversant with C#, alternatively you may be a strong MFC developer (COM/ DCOM preferred), with a knowledge of C#. Professional C# training will be provided, but you must demonstrate an awareness and strong interest.
•Strong SQL development would also be of distinct advantage.
•Experience of Object oriented software development (preferably UML) would be beneficial.
