A Blue Chip IT Services Consultancy is recruiting for a SAP Project Manager / System Developer to work on projects based in Milton Keynes with a Public Sector client. You will possess proven experience in total project management for the delivery of small to medium sized projects whilst meeting or exceeding planned timelines, budget, margin, and quality specifications. You should also possess an excellent knowledge of the SAP Applications. Particularly around the SAP R/ 3, SAP EBP & SAP BW systems. This role would ideally suit a SAP Specialist who has moved into project management, but still wants the opportunity to complete a hand's on role. Candidates with experience of work within the Public Sector are preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with experience of delivery to a 3rd party client would also be preferred. Strong Project management skills are a requirement and Prince II qualifications or similar would help your application. Key Skills required: Full project ownership managing client proposals, the project plan, development, delivery schedule, establishing resource requirements, 3rd parties, risks and issues, cost budgeting, application of tools, standards and quality, client acceptance and sign off: Writes accurate and effective Statements of Work so that both the client and staff understand the project expectations and roles: Sets objectives and priorities for the project staff: Assigns and reviews tasks, manages performance, and staffing requirements: Pro-actively reports project risk and deliverable issues: Establishes strong client relationships: Performs the role of primary project interface with the client-communicates deliverables, conducts client meetings.
