A leading fincancial software house is looking to hire a Senior Java/ J2EE Developer with Real-Time trading systems experience, to work across various asset classes in anewly formed Greenfield development team.
You must have solid commercial Java and or J2EE development experience gained within a complex blue chip IT environment. The applications you will be working on large distributed systems built in Java/ J2EE within a hibernate framework. Other technologies used within this system are Spring, WebSphere, Sybase and Struts to name a few. There are multiple opportunities to cross train into these areas. You will have solid experience in Java/ J2EE and preferably experience with Spring, Struts, Eclipse, Tomcat, Hibernate, JBoss, WebLogic or WebSphere. You must be comfortable facing off to the business and have excellent communication skills. Java/ J2EE experience will be supported by a university Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent and be coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving ability.
