Global Head of IT Infrastructure - WAN/ LAN, Dealer-boards - London
A Global Investment Bank is seeking a manager of IT Infrastructure to join their London based operation. Offices are located in: the US (Chicago, New York, Hartford and Boston), UK (London) and Asia (Tokyo and Hong Kong).
The Infrastructure manager will be responsible for the day to day management and operations of the global IT infrastructure estate and team (approx 9 staff). Services to be supported include: networks (WAN/ LAN), systems/ storage/ servers, Exchange, telephony, dealer-boards, AV, remote access and desktop.
You will be a highly experienced IT Practitioner with a good understanding of infrastructure service delivery and team management in a fast moving environment. This is a technical role and you will need to have a balance of excellent hands on technical skills e.g. MCSE, systems support and design, combined with proven management ability. Your capacity to deliver projects and manage services to a very high standard using a structured approach is also critical. You will also be willing to work occasionally at weekends or out of normal business hours.
The ideal candidate will have good Financial Services experience, be highly client focused and proficient in infrastructure & network design. In addition you will be competent in all aspects of IT infrastructure and operations management. The role will involve working closely with IT applications and security and ideally you will also be familiar working with structured IT management systems.

- TCP/ IP and MPLS Traffic Management and Monitoring - Essential
