Aston Carter is currently recruiting for a .Net Developers who have a background in GAMING.
The role is permanent and would be based in Dublin.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
You will have a track record of delivering Web based solutions with particular emphasis on both scalability and reliability
You will work in a team responsible for the development of a services layer for use in a broader enterprise wide system
Your will have specific experience in Microsoft C#, ASP.NET and a deep understanding of the .NET platform, preferably .NET 2.0
A reasonable understanding of AJAX, and particularly ATLAS is expected - some experience with WinFX / .NET 3.0 would be advantageous
Skills / Experience Required:
BSc in Computer Science, MSc or PhD highly desired
Development Experience
HTML / DHTML / XHTML / Javascript or similar technology
C# / ASP.NET developer on Web Projects
Deep understanding of the .NET CLI and the .NET framework, ideally 2.0
The following, while not essential, are highly desirable
enterprise applications
ADO.NET development experience
NUnit development experience or similar automated test tools
Web Services and SOA experience
Microsoft WinFX / .NET 3.0 knowledge
Microsoft MSMQ or similar environment
Enterprise Message Bus / Enterprise Service Bus experience
BPEL or similar experience
Security and Encryption Algorithms
UML modelling
Full Software Development Lifecycle
Database Systems particularly SQL Server
