Based in London, this is a unique opportunity to work on a Greenfield development project for the most popular travel and leisure site in the UK.
Running as a semi-autonomous team within my client, this team is focused on the creative side of technology; they are planning on creating 4 new innovations this year alone. The atmosphere is similar to that of a start up but with the financial backing of a massively successful company.
They are looking for experienced and passionate people who have the personality to not be frightened by regularly starting with a blank sheet and being expected to come up with cutting edge new ideas. The role is going to be very fast paced with a rapid turn over of projects, prior experience of which is essential. Also, experience with a variety of web-technologies, especially AJAX is preferable. Vital is the ability and motivation to learn new things.
You will be involved in the brainstorming, innovation and subsequent design of new products. Also rapidly development of multiple prototypes, both rough and detailed, the implementation and launch entire web or mobile applications, and the mentoring of junior members of the team.
