A tier-one Investment Bank is presently seeking a Management Reporting Production & Support analyst. The role entails ownership of the design, development, production and support of Operations Metrics Data and Reports, providing information on Key Business Drivers such as Volumes, Productivity, Costs, Service Quality, Risk & Skills. The individual will be required to maintain and further develop a suite of internal reports across several areas in Morgan Stanley Equities Divisions, and to customise the reports dependent on who they are to be distributed to and what level of detail is required. A large part of this will be the automation and streamlining of all processes to reduce manual effort and time required for report production. The main areas of focus will be –
The design and roll out of a series of standardised MI reports
The support and development of tactical metrics systems
Provision of ad-hoc metrics reports for senior management
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Database design & VBA. Prior knowledge or experience with OLAP systems and Cubes is a definite advantage. Good time management and organisational skills, as well as analytical and communication skills are necessary. Knowledge of operations, the trade lifecycle & confirmations processes is an advantage.
