My client a leading Defence company are looking to recruit an Installation Design Engineer to work along side their project engineering team reporting to the lead installation design engineer. You will be working in accordance with the client processes and procedures to create installation design packs detailing equipment to be installed on site, its location and the methods of installation and fixing etc.

The candidate will be fully conversant in using AutoCAD as the primary design tool and will be conversant too in Microsoft Office applications. A track record of electro-mechanical design is essential and experience of designing for installation is desirable. Experience of designing cabling and equipment mountings into racks and housing is an advantage.
