My client is a well established rapidly growing software House based in Guildford is looking for x2 Java Web Developers to join its expanding team. They are looking for a Java front-end web developer with solid experience with JSP/ Servlet and DHTML. Experience with Content Management Systems and/ or Liferay Portal would be a distinct advantage.

The Role
You will join a team of Java developers building web applications for the European Space Agency and the United Nations. The company has offices in the Netherlands, Italy and the UK (where this role is based). The company is rapidly expanding and has an urgent need to improve the web front-end skills within team.

Skills Required
Essential
•Excellent HTML/ CSS skills
•Good JSP/ Servlet knowledge
•Sound Javascript skills
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
•Experience developing portal applications (ideally with Oracle or Liferay Portal)
•Experience with Java-based Content Management Systems (CMS's)
•SQL knowledge (preferably Oracle and/ or Postgres)
•ColdFusion
•XSLT
•AJAX
•Struts
•Hibernate

Other Skills
•Demonstrated analytical abilities
•Team player with good communication skills
•Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software development
