We are seeking a dynamic and professional individual who has a broad range of skills to work at the Sheffield Regional Business Centre (RBC) as Regional Business Centre Manager. This position suits someone looking for a first management experience, and more experienced managers alike provided you would like to develop in a varied and rewarding environment.

Reporting to the Industry Service Manager, you would be responsible for managing all aspects of the Regional Business Centre, including achieving the agreed business budgets for the RBC, managing a full profit and loss account with responsibility for winning business, executing it and managing the overheads of the business as well as expanding the RBC by adopting the Industry Service business plan and by promoting the company’s profile.

As Regional Business Centre Manager you will also cultivate personal relationships with existing and new customers to maximise business opportunities and will manage and develop the RBC staff of 10 in an efficient and profitable manner by ensuring the balance of team and individual responsibilities, both long and short term, as well as taking responsibility for ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements and maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of contract management including tendering, engineering, contract procedures and after sales service. You will also control and minimise the RBC overhead expenditure and operating costs.

Personal qualities and experience will be important in appointing the Regional Business Centre Manager. You should have a flexible approach to your workload and possess a very high level of personal organisation. You should be a good communicator and have an enthusiastic approach to problem solving, learning and to developing yourself as an individual
