My client is a well established rapidly growing software services company based in notts is looking for x2 Java Developers to join its expanding team.
The Role
You would initially be responsible for programming and unit testing of product development on one of our exciting new projects. In addition, there may be work on customisation and product enhancements over a range of interesting and challenging web-based projects. You would also assist with customer/ support investigations of applications in a live/ production environment, reporting both internally to customer support personnel or interfacing directly with customers as appropriate.
Skills Required
•You must have extensive Java experience
•In addition, any experience of JSP/ J2EE, Servlets, HTML, CSS, XML, Spring, SQL, and JavaScript would be a distinct advantage, although training is available where appropriate.
•Exposure to Web Application Servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat and/ or Websphere), databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle and/ or MySQL) and version control software (VSS or CVS) is desirable.
Overview
Organisation and a keen eye for detail are indispensable in this environment, as are clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills. You should be used to working on your own initiative and within a team, to tight deadlines. We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual with a good sense of humour to fit into our friendly team.
