A rapidly expanding, top Investment Bank is looking to add a Dealing Room Support Analyst to their Singapore team.
The Singapore business is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Singapore ITS Support. In this role you will provide first and second level support for the office and will cover Trading, Back and Middle Office businesses as well as Corporate, Banking and Research businesses. You will provide a high level of technical support to the office and follow up problems which are escalated to 3rd line support teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney as required.
Working within a small Asia based team, primary responsibilities of this challenging position will be to provide effective first level and second level support for the above key business areas. Key accountabilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and support for user queries;
- Extensive intra-bank liaison, especially within the business areas;
- Local Vendor Management;
- Managing small projects on a day to day basis;
- Support and problems solving of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office products;
- Ability to troubleshoot simple networking issues, including TCP/ IP protocol knowledge;
- Ability to troubleshoot and do first level telephony support for PABX, BT Dealer Board and voice recording system;
- Ongoing support of local Market Rates services, trading systems, market feeds and clearing systems;
- Assistance with upgrades and roll out of new software
You will have sound technical experience in fast paced working environments. Ideally, this would include experience in Banking and Trading Room environments, however this is not essential. You should possess a sound understanding of Microsoft operating systems and products as well as Active Directory administration. A working knowledge of Unix and Market Rates services e.g. Bloomberg and Reuters products and knowledge of trading and clearing system is highly desirable.

- Strong customer service skills and professional attitude;
- The flexibility to deal with conflicting and ever changing priorities;
- Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts including a willingness to work overtime and be available for weekend work when required.
