•Software development in .NET (ASP/ VB),Unit and integration testing of the software produced
•Production of functional specifications, design documentation and release notices as required
•Code management using configuration tool
•Investigation and resolution of faults reported by the test / support teams
•Planning and organising your own work
•Status reporting

•A minimum of two years commercial programming experience using Visual Basic and Active Server Pages
•A minimum of one years experience of .NET development(ASP.NET 2.0 and VB.NET 2.0), including a detailed knowledge of the .NET framework
•Experience of web development using HTML and Javascript
•Knowledge of HTTP and TCP/ IP
•Knowledge of XML including stylesheets, transforms and schemas
•Experience of writing Stored Procedures and Triggers, Performing SQL tuning and database management activities using SQL Server 2005.
•(Desirable) Educated to degree level in computer related discipline
•(Desirable) Knowledge of the mortgage, and general insurance market is desirable but not a requirement
(Desirable) ‘release control' experience
