This renowned and award winning UK Technical Services company are looking to recruit a Prince certified Project Manager to be involved in an exciting new Government project, working onsite in the Tyneside area or working from home. We want to hear from Project Managers with experience of rollouts (such as desktop etc) – the will be rolling out desktops, VOIP, interactive whiteboards etc. Public sector experience a bonus or someone who is comfortable going into that environment. The role will carry overall responsibility for the delivery of ICT service projects to BSF in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner, taking overall responsibility for the delivery of projects using appropriate Project Management or Software Development Methodology (e.g. Prince 2, Pragmatic Prince or RUP). To qualify you will need a Prince 2 Foundation and/ or Practitioner course and accreditation and/ or RUP Fundamentals course, along with 5-8 years Project Management experience delivering small/ medium IT projects, preferably on General IT, Desktop and/ or Telephony roll outs. Any experience of these types of projects within the Public Sector would help to secure your interview, but is not essential.
