The world's largest Hedge Fund has an opening for a developer in their Zurich office; no German required.

This is an opportunity to become a performing member of a multi-disciplined, business aligned development and delivery team. As part of a big development team and occasionally by yourself you will write, test and release applications.
You will develop and support software applications mainly in VB, C#, ASP .Net 2.0 and MS SQL Server. In addition you will work with TDD, SCRUM, and source control tools. You will develop solutions with Microsoft Office Sharepoint (MOSS) 2007 and Reporting Services/ Analysis Services.


In order to be considered for this excellent opportunity you have to meet the following requirements: You have a degree in information technologies and a minimum of three years work experience, in particular with MOSS 2007, including custom developed workflows, intranet migration and content management.
You have good knowledge of the iterative software development process and object oriented software development as well as design patterns and open source frameworks (e.g. CSLA and Spring.NET). In addition, you have good database design and SQL coding skills with MS SQL2000/ 2005. You are experienced in delivering Business Intelligence and Reporting Solutions based on MS SQL Server technologies; Oracle knowledge would be advantage. You can prove a track record of working on projects using C#/ .NET .You have an understanding of the financial markets, ideally worked in a financial institution before and have excellent analysis and interpretation skills. You are used to coping with pressurized situations and meeting deadlines. You have an organized and methodical approach to problem solving and a desire to share ideas and tasks with others.
