An immediate position exists for an experienced Technical Architect/ Defence Consultant to work on one of the world's largest and most exciting defence contracts. Delivering highly secure networks architecturally involving data storage, back ups, archiving solutions and LAN integration you will work closely with all levels of business from engineers to management.
Responsible for high level design and network architecture you may have full Technical Design Authority over the design of IT networks including Software Specification, interfacing and integration.
As Technical Architect you be able to grasp complex IT Network and Security issues and have a good working knowledge of the software development lifecycle as well as project management methodologies. To be successful in this position as Technical Architect you will have ideally worked on large, complex bid projects before and gained some experience within the defence sector.
If you consider Network Infrastructure, Risk Management, Security and Governance issues to be amongst your strengths and possess high level technical design knowledge of Cisco and Microsoft technologies then I need to speak to you ASAP
