Junior Developer – Hampshire, to 25k
A major networking and telecoms business based in Hampshire seeks a junior developer to join their team. Candidates for this role will have a university or college degree in Software Development or Business Systems (or the equivalent) and over 6 months to a year's experience of application development.
You will work as part of a team designing software and supporting architecture in order to implement business requirements, and develop software in line with design, ensuring that the company development coding and documentation standards are met. You will maintain and enhance company software with the aim of improving functionality in line with business requirement.
The successful junior developer will have a good understanding of .NET, MS Visual Studio and Web Services. You will have a sound understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle framework and ideally an exposure to business systems such as SAP, SalesForce.com, Siebel, Business Objects etc. Also essential is proven experience in implementing Service Oriented Architectures.
Additionally, skills in any of the following are highly desirable: Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net), SQL Server, JSP and/ or ASP, XML. Candidates should be proficient in Internet, Word, Excel, Access, MS Project, PowerPoint.
