Oracle Consultant - UK-Wide / Nottingham, Midlands. Busy database services consultancy require an experienced Oracle specialist to join their expanding team. You will be from a high end user or commercial support background, supporting multiple installation and configurations. Oracle green field installations, Database Administration on Linux, UNIX and Windows. Experience with RAC clustering, performance tuning, backup and recovery, cloning, design, RMAN, application installation, partitioning, sizing databases, user support, space management.. Database Administration on Oracle Versions 7 and upwards. Application Building in Oracle SQL*Forms V3 and SQL*Menu V5 Introduction to Oracle: SQL, SQL*Plus and PL/ SQL. Ideal for a Certified Oracle 10g Associate. Exposure to Veritas, HP-Unix, Sun Solaris, AIX, PS6000 or Data General would be preferable. You should be well presented, with good communication and customer facing skills and you will be able to control meetings and deliver support over the phone.
