Business Analyst, Banking, based in SWINDON
Work within the Investment Operations to deliver process and technology changes to the
business.The role will involve the analysis, design, functional testing and UAT for the bank
to move to the strategic market data platform.
The analyst will work closely with the business to interpret and clearly define the objectives,
requirements and the critical success factors of the change. Based on this understanding, the
business analyst will be responsible for designing and clearly documenting the solution,
covering, for example, required process changes, application functionality, usability and logical
data structures. The business analyst will then need to work closely with a number of sites
to deliver the solution.
•Act as a bridge between the business and IT
•Plan and run workshops and interviews across the business functional areas.
•Support and provide feedback to project managers, analyst programmers, testers and business representatives
•Work with the business & IT representatives to define succinct and measurable objectives for the solution
•Document clear and testable business requirements and functional design specifications
•Own & manage the integrity of the functional solution being delivered
•Support business representatives through the different phases of the project life
cycle
•Assist in the definition of functional test conditions and expected results/ success criteria
•Organise & facilitate UAT planning and execution
•Facilitate the requirement and sign off to provide sufficient fully trained IOS staff to support the transfer of new client business
•Ensure the service to be provided to the client is clearly documented, and communicated
•Ensure the relevant procedures, forms and other service documents are defined and available for implementation
•Ensure all aspects of the technology component of the solution (people, process, technology, documentation) are ready for go-live
•Ensure relevant, appropriate and timely communication to all parties impacted by the
implementation is defined and executed
