Established financial organisation urgently needs the services of an experienced IBM pSeries Consultant / AIX Systems Administrator. Working with the clients permanent technical services team, this contract position will require a high-level of commercial savvy and include heavy technical bend towards IBM pSeries Servers, (P5) Logical Partitioning (LPAR) pSeries server configuration, installation and administration. AIX admin, Veritas VM 7 Clustering, HMC 7, Virtualization and VIOS systems are also a prerequisite. This role is due to run until late summer but could very well run into Autumn / Winter of 2008. Immediate availability is preferred as this project is already underway.
