Contract Senior Project Manager – Central London – Investment Banking – £750-£850 p/ d – 6 months+. Group Infrastructure risk.

Key Skills: Strong, recent London banking experience a must, experience of managing multiple projects a must, RISK applications experience (Market risk, credit risk, liquidity Risk management, PRINCE 2 certification (ideally Practitioner certified). Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver large and complex projects. Group Risk.

Our client's business is at the very heart of the London banking community and is a stable member and well regarded institution within city finance circles. Our client's IT systems help support the trading of items such as derivatives swaps and fixed income products. Our client wishes to recruit a contract Senior Project Manager to deliver one or more large or complex projects, ensuring that the project produces the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. In addition, to ensure that the project produces a result that is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Business Case.

Candidates should have a clear background at Senior Project Manager level within the London banking fraternity together with clear evidence of managing multiple projects. A deep understanding of Prince 2 is very important here, RISK apps. The candidate also needs to have experience of working with 3rd party suppliers. Candidates should be available to commence by 1st May at the latest.
