This is a unique opportunity for a 12 month fixed term contract in Bristol for a high profile organisation/ household name. We are looking for an experienced PL/ SQL and Oracle Developer to work on a wide variety of projects over the coming year.

As an experienced PL/ SQL developer you will have experience developing within Oracle 9i and 10g environments, following the full project management life cycle in developing software, to identified standards.

As an Oracle PL/ SQL developer you will be responsible for developing a wide range of applications and mentoring junior team members, as well as having the opportunity to increase your Oracle skills with APEX (Oracle Application Express) as well as other web-based and database software development.

Essential skills are a strong background of Oracle RDBMS, PL/ SQL development and additional web based skills such are advantageous; HTML, XHTML, Java, C++, JavaScript, Java Servlet / JSP, XML technologies.
