My client, a leading telecoms company require a field engineer to join their organisation.
Skills/ Experience (required):
Experience in Operating Systems and applications support such MS XP,MS Windows Server 2003, MS Exchange server and Cisco CallManager; Ideally experience with Cisco Unified Messaging, Cisco switches, routers, PIX Firewalls and MS OCS Server, Blackberry Enterprise server, vendor specific IP Telephony system offering such as Mitel and Avaya.
Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):
As a field Engineer you will be responsible for completing allocated support jobs so that the business can continue to offer a high level of service to our client base; You will be offering 1st line and 2nd line support with an understanding of customer needs in such areas as IP Telephony, Microsoft Operating system and Application support; Offering Telephone, remote and on-site support to our client base; As set out by the Service Level agreements and follow the call escalation procedure; Will be part of the converged Telecoms/ IT Team and therefore must have a good appreciation of both terminologies and technologies.
