Role

Work with the Service Designer to ensure all requirements are captured;
Develop a delivery Milestone plan with the Business Manager;
Ensure that any Milestone plan can be supported internally within the existing or proposed Operational Support System (OSS);
Ensure that any Milestone plan can be supported externally with chosen delivery agents;
Work with the N3SP Delivery team (PDO Birmingham & Cambridge) to maximize the use of Standard delivery processes;
Work with the N3SP Delivery team (PDO Birmingham & Cambridge) to highlight Bespoke requirements;
Work with the Delivery & OSS development teams to detail acceptable minor changes from standard process that can be supported by available systems;
Work with the N3SP Core delivery team to develop a Work Package for ‘COIN Core' deployment as part of the overall COIN project;
Ensuring that the Service Introduction Acceptance criteria for quality gates 1 and 2 are achieved.
Managing the project to contractually agreed milestones;
Work with 3rd Party suppliers and Stakeholders to ensure effective and timely delivery of solutions
The implementation of all delivery elements of the Service to the customer and N3SP;
Ensuring that a detailed Technical Implementation Specification (TIS) is created.
Ensuring that a detailed rollout schedule covering all sites is established and signed off with the end customer; in order to establish a bench mark for ongoing change control.
Mobilization of resources identified within the Service Design to delivery the COIN Solution on time and on budget;
Provide Resource and Cost tracking during the implementation of the COIN up to and including the handover to the Business Manager;
Providing regular reports on Progress to the Customer and to N3SP;
Attend regular customer meetings to review implementation progress;
Managing Changes in requirements instigated by N3SP or the Customer;
Escalate any issues that could severely impact N3SP's ability to deliver the service on budget and on time;
Ensuring that the Service Introduction Acceptance criteria for quality gates 3 and 4 are achieved.
Handover to Service and Business Manager during the life of the project.
Must Have –

Specific criteria at which they are looking at –
PRINCE 2 certification
Weightage for PM experience à 70% to 75%
Weightage for Technical experience à 25% to 30%
Candidates need to have an overall understanding of technology (in networking domain) without getting into specifics of Technology, as they would be assisted by a strong Technical team
Most important qualities which they are looking for –
Rich Project Management experience of at least 2 – 3 years (using Prince 2)
Customer management (this work involves handling very demanding customers)
Stakeholder management (who are very powerful)
Manage multiple suppliers and effective coordination across these suppliers
