1st Line E-mail Threat Analyst/ Development Engineer.Reading, Berkshire.Required to join a Global Software Company. The role will be a 1st Line Technical Support role mainly involving monitoring E-mail traffic and providing a direct response to new outbreaks and also configuration, maintenance and development of existing threat systems. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Programming experience in either C, Perl or Python; Exposure to TCP/ IP networking and general Internet security issues; Some Admin (or Development) experience of UNIX (Solaris/ Red Hat) Systems; The following skills are also highly desirable: Database admin (or programming) experience of SQL; Experience of Anti-Virus/ Spyware technology; Understanding of Anti-Spam detection techniques.
