A fantastic opportunity to work for a top tier Hedge Fund as Java/ Matlab Data Engineer on high frequency trading algorithms. The successful candidate will become a member of the Data Services Group and become key in developing systems to facilitate the collection, processing and storage of data used by the research group and live trading models. The candidate will be involved in system architecture and component design with the view to providing a scalable system to support rapidly evolving business needs.
Essential:
Good Java/ Matlab, OOA/ D, Data modelling and design
Excellent Databases (performance tuning, indexing, etc), RDBMS
Top tier education
Preferred:
Experience with Python, Ruby or Groovy
Excellent Java/ Matlab (Mathematica, Maple etc)
