Position: Pre Sales Engineer – Cisco Works, Cisco Unified products
Skills: Are you an ambitious engineer with experience of CiscoWorks and the Cisco Unified Communications product set? If so, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for. My client is a highly successful Cisco Gold Partner with an excellent reputation in the Networking and Telecommunications market. You will help to optimize ongoing engagements around the solutions. You will carry out 4 major presentations annually and spend around 40% of your time on customer premises on pre-sales engagements.
The necessary skills include the following: at least 1 year working or selling in IT operational environment, with experience in a pre-sales or sales IT environment. You must demonstrate the desire to nurture and develop solutions to Operations management challenges using technology or process-re-engineering techniques. Ideally you will have a technical accreditation from Cisco covering Infrastructure, Voice or Network Management product set, with specific technical expertise in Cisco Network Management product solutions (CiscoWorks). Candidates for this role might come from an NOC or field engineering environment. Excellent communication skills are essential.
The right person for this role will be a confident communicator who wants to develop their commercial knowledge in a presales role. You will offer good business development skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to both business and technical issues.
