My client, an Investment Bank require a Windows Systems Administrator to join their
Skills/ Experience (required):
Seasoned Windows Systems Engineer with strong technical skills, experience in administration, and support functions of large Windows server environments; Knowledge of VMWare, Blade Hardware, Clustering, SAN; Citrix; Financial System knowledge would be an advantage.
Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):
Responsible for installing, monitoring and maintaining physical Server's, Operating Systems, and various enterprise software packages including financial systems. Ensure resilient operation of services and act as a third line support, investigating and resolve IT Infrastructure problems.
Work close with the Global team in the design, integration, testing and deployment of infrastructure; Implementation of system monitoring tools for proactive issue management
The Infrastructure includes a cross-section of Windows 2003 server operating system, VMWare, IBM Blade hardware, Clustering, SANs, and Citrix.
The Administrator will also provide support to IT Service Desk personnel, individual users and the Company as a whole.
