Ericsson MGW O&M Engineer
Our client Ericsson is looking for a MGW O&M Engineer.
The MGW O&M Engineer's responsibilities are to:
Traffic Observation, Service Quality measurements, its analysis & preventive action. Receive problems from Surveillance & solve it.
S/ W features/ services troubleshooting. Create CSR & follow up, troubleshooting the problem etc.
Troubleshooting for integrating the new services.
Loading fixes etc, upgrading the node software release.
Provide quick temporary solution to prevent service loss in emergency situations.
The candidate shall have the following basic competence:
Experience on integration with different VAS & NON VAS nodes.
Must be able to Support 3G network and must be skilled with advance troubleshooting techniques in relative domain Experience with CPP Platform and good understanding of IP over ATM Transport Networks.
Experience in Operations and Maintenances of Node B, RXI, RNC or MGW.
Experience of RAN architecture, implementation & traffic cases.
Experience in traces using Ericsson Tools (OSS-CR, MOSHELL, Element manager/ EMAS, Ranos).
Good knowledge of UMTS Standards, 3GPP WCDMA air-interface & signalling protocols.
Software upgrading & configuration changes of Wireless RAN products including RNC, NODE B, RXI and MGW.
The expert must be skilled with integration of nodes with MGW & 2G.
The expert must be able to handle problems, faults and other issues arising from 2G and 3G integration.
The expert must have good understanding of Core 3G networks.
