The Information Management and Analysis Services team is a global team of over 400 professionals focused on delivering leading edge data analysis and information management solutions to our clients.
The team in the UK consists of around 25 practitioners with diverse backgrounds, all with common capabilities to translate data from its most technical and detailed levels to deliver insightful information that will tell our clients something about their business they did not already know. For the team, that means being able to extract, cleanse and analyse data, and importantly apply the ‘so what?’ and ‘what next’ questions in their way of working.
If successful, it is likely that you will be working with a variety of clients and industries, and you will be working alongside practitioners from across EY, on business improvement, process assessment, and regulatory compliance projects. As an ambassador for the IMAS team, you will need to build a strong network internally and be able to exceed our clients’ high expectations. You will therefore be highly motivated, and a strong communicator.
Technically you should have built up a high level of expertise in analysis and data manipulation tools such as SAS and SQL. There is a high degree of variety in the work, so the ability to be flexible and adaptable is key. Much of our work is focused on Retail and Financial Services sectors, with an increasing focus on customer analytics. We are also delivering data quality, data architecture and data governance projects in Government. Whatever the industry and focus for our assignments, the common expectation is a high technical pedigree, combined with strong commercial understanding.
