For this role as a Ruby/ Ruby on Rails Developer (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Agile) you will need to have the autonomy to not just think of the project you are currently working on but look above and beyond it and see what other things the business can implement. You will have to have an understanding of Linux/Unix systems and should be able to do the deployment process of the software as well. You will need strong experience in a Ruby/ Ruby on Rails position in order to hit the ground running as help them with some large upcoming projects. You will be assisting the company in expanding the platform and developing it so that API's, features, new products and functionalities are exposed, a really exciting role with a lot of potential.
For this role as a Ruby/ Ruby on Rails Developer (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Agile) you will require the following skill set:
* Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails- Essential
* Experience working in an Agile methodology- Desirable
* Experience working on a Linux/Unix Operating system- Essential
* Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases- Desirable
* Experience in Deployment- Essential
* Good communicator- Essential
