Citizens of EU countries do not need a work permit to take up employment in Sweden. This also goes for citizens of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway.

Citizens of all other countries must go through a full registration and work permit process. A work permit can only be obtained if no suitable candidate can be found in Sweden or another Member State of the EU.

Sweden is located in the heart of Europe sharing boarders with Finland and Norway and close to Denmark. The population of Sweden is 9.2m and the capital is Stockholm (where most of the jobs are based). Travel to Sweden from the UK is very accessible, as is travelling around Sweden. The currency in Sweden is the Swedish Kronor, as they are yet to adopt the Euro.
