Awesome Job! Learning People...

I am specially very excited about my career consultant, she has her way of managing all my affairs, reaching out, which from day one has been very supportive, encouraging and helpful. No doubt passed my Prince2 Foundation and on to the next achievement Prince2 Practioner stage. Also the student care team is amazing, calling to find out if you are faring well, but there is delayed call in the last weeks, but i know it will come. Altogether Learning People is awesome, and do great things!🙂

I am very lucky to have Amy Kent as my Student Care Consultant. From the Day-1 till today, throughout our fortnightly catch ups with Amy Kent has been very supportive. Fist of all I would like to thanks learning people for my the interview call last week and I don't have any idea about this service so I am not sure with witch IT course i should start with any one can advice me witch course I take Engineers software, network, security or anything else

Absolutely Money minded,don't go for it

Money minded
I have signed up for a course with a promise of online coaching, only to find that they offer a video catalog not like a live session. As an ACS member in Australia I already have access to it. Despite repeated efforts that I am not looking for this and why would I pay thousands of dollars if I can access it already for a few dollars worth of Australian computer society membership they halted my access but asked me to pay the full price of the course. I have denied and they have fined me. Initially it was around 6k now I have to pay 8.5k it seems or they will go after my credit score etc. I feel that I have lost my 500$ and possibly financial credit score and mental piece for marketing trickery. There are plenty of services like Coursera udemy that are less than 90-95% of the price of learning people where you can learn whatever these people offer you.

Took the programming course

Took the programming course , Paid 4k for the course that the rep recommended. there is no job guarantee with their courses
I have started other online courses previous to this.

I was very disappointed that once signed up I was directed to the other online course that I already have
Codecademy. which is a 10th of the price.

I understand that there is other resousrces that are avalible too , and also mentor that can help.

There is no content of their own.

Codecademy is good, but it needs some video tutorial to accompany it. I am using a Udemy course along side it.

You shouldnt have to considering the cost. after the hard sale is done I havent heard from them since as a
"check in " on how you are doing.

I bet there is a high drop out rate to these courses.

The courses were well-taught

The courses were well-taught, and the provided materials were tailored to my needs.
The financing options were flexible, but the fees were a bit higher compared to other providers.
The support system was not always responsive, but this was during new staff settling in, succession plan needed some work so that it wouldn't negatively impact the quality of service provided.
The employment service offered me personalized support, including a one-to-one session with Francesca Fardell to prepare for the interview.
This helped me feel more confident during the interview, as we went over likely questions that may be asked. While other providers may offer a job placement guarantee for a lower fee, I believe that the quality of the training and support I received deserves a 5-star rating.

Excellent

The friendly nature of every member of the team. Their readiness to help or assist and calm nature was of great impact to the successful completion of the course. Another thing I would say is student should study the materials provided notwithstanding the 80% requirement via mock test for the exams(voucher)to be booked by learning people which can be easily achieved by constant practice. Your understanding of the materials/ resources provided will help in passing the test/exams however the questions are presented, reworded or twisted.

Supportive and plenty of resources

Learning people provided video and text info to assist in my study prep for exams. After gaining my A+ certificate I was greatly assisted by Francesca who helped restructure my CV and Cover letter. Also help me to understand how my current skillset can be utilized in my new career field.

It's been a extremely encouraging and supportive process.

False Promises, stay away from them

I enrolled for an AWS course with the assurance of unlimited exam resets. However, when I fell ill and needed to reschedule my exam, they flat out refused to issue me a voucher for the reset because apparently I am out of my license. Despite their promises, they showed no empathy or understanding of my situation, they just asked me for more money. It's disappointing to see a company prioritise profit over their students' well-being. I would caution anyone considering their services to beware of their deceptive practices and lack of support when it matters most. Don’t fall for their slick marketing; their support vanishes the moment you need it the most. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a provider that actually delivers on their promises.

So far so good

So far so good , week in and i feel already confident with my course , considering I’ve made making full use of this course my priority, feel like I’ve made a good investment due to the wide range of support and resources available. This is self funded education so you will only learn as much as you want to learn & choose your career carefully.

Tabatha Cook has been brilliant!

Tabatha Cook has been a brilliant Career Services Consultant. She has really helped me with my confidence, with my documentation (CV, covering letters, guidelines, checklists etc), and with the general processes around finding job opportunities and preparing for interviews.

Tabatha is very easy to communicate with, has heaps of knowledge and helpful advice, has a sensible and practical approach, and is genuinely kind and helpful. She has stayed with me on my journey and regularly checked in with me. I really feel supported by Tabatha, and that my career matters to her.
