We're looking for an IT Support Technician / Engineer to offer a mix of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for a number of our clients across a range of mostly Windows-based environments.
The role is exciting, we'll explain why below, but we're looking for a very capable problem-solver with good communication skills to join an extremely friendly team of eight people.
About you
We're looking for a dynamic, confident and self sufficient support analyst who has the technical expertise to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for all tiers of support with assistance from others on larger technical projects. Day to day you will be required to coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot incoming queries (emails & phone calls), so excellent organisational and customer service skills are a must. In addition to the day to day activities there will be a necessity to write and maintain technical documentation.
We're looking for someone who's intelligent, who can respond to challenges and offer us and our clients great solutions to everyday and more unusual problems. You'll be sure of your own abilities and we'll make sure we help you in bringing your skills to bear on a wide range of problems and issues. We encourage free-thinking and creative solutions, so if you're looking to put more in and get more out then this is the job for you.
About us
We're a unique company - on the one hand we're a specialist IT provider and on the other we're a leading-edge design agency. We're also a unique place to work - we're relaxed, challenging, conventional and unconventional in all the right ways.
We have attractive, airy and modern offices in a three hundred year old building one minute from Bethnal Green tube. You'll enjoy the place you work and the people you work with. We're a supportive, friendly, relaxed and close-knit team - we work hard, have the highest of expectations but offer good rewards and great working conditions.
We're in the process of expanding our service - we've been providing boutique IT support and consulting for the past few years but we've identified a gap within the market which we're looking to exploit over the next twelve months. We're a successful small company and we're looking to grow - so you'll be joining at the right time and as we recruit over the next few months there's opportunity for your role to grow and change.
From time to time you may be required to travel within the UK and work off site to support our clients. You'll also need to be flexible - there'll be the odd early start, some late finishes and from time to time some on-call work.
