Would you like to lead the transformation of how visitors travel around the central Lake District?
As Programme Manager, you will co-ordinate the delivery of our LSTF project. Nine integrated projects include the development of electric bike and car networks, market-focussed ticketing and innovative information design and marketing. They are being delivered with partner organisations (Cumbria County Council and Cumbria Tourism) through local businesses and operators.
You will have a proven track record of project management – ideally using PRINCE2. Your enthusiasm and knowledge for behaviour change through innovative sustainable transport will be what drives you, and you will naturally inspire and confidently negotiate with a wide variety of types of delivery partner.
In the next six months, further staff will be recruited focussing on the development of passenger transport services, transport information, integrated ticketing, cycling and marketing.
