How your talent fits in

We are recruiting for a number of technical analysts, to join the Data Management team with responsibility for providing analytical services and spatial information management of asset information covering:

•Core infrastructure assets, particularly the rail network
•Schematic and map based representation of the rail network
•Analysis and presentation of key assets and operations in relation to the rail network
•Assessment and management of underground services information in proximity to Network Rail assets.


What you need to join us

You are:

•Passionate about the use of location and proximity in the analysis and presentation of information.
•Experienced in designing diagrammatic or map based representation of real world infrastructure
•Adept in the management and analysis of multiple datasets within a CAD or GIS environment
•Well organised and disciplined in the storage of data, and file based information, following and defining procedures and standards.
•Innovative in creating methodologies and techniques to identify and correct inaccuracy in a diverse data environment.
•Able to derive and summarise information and present conclusions in a clear and concise manner.
•Excellent at managing your time, people and deliverables to ensure timely delivery which meets the needs and expectations of requesting parties.

You will have:

•Extensive relevant experience in a location based data intensive role, in a relevant industry (e.g. Utilities, Logistics, Rail, Highways)
•Experience in the analytical use of CAD or GIS based software, particularly in linear and network assets
•Experience in spatial data modelling, management and quality assurance processes.
•Experience in defining and creating data management procedures
