We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented, all-round Web Developer. We want somebody creative and innovative who can help ensure we're leaders in web technology within the hospitality sector.
We love new technology and like to push the boundaries with social media, web technology and innovative solutions for our clients.
You should be able to hand code in HTML, XHTML and CSS and have an excellent knowledge of Javascript, PHP and MySQL. We work in a pre-dominately LAMP environment although we sometimes need to work with other technologies.
We are also developing our own suite of in-house web-based solutions and there are opportunities to be part of the development of web-based products.
As the company expands there will be opportunities for the right person to further develop the website and technical department going forwards.
The role will require:
•Programming & coding in PHP, MySQL, CSS, XHTML, HTML and Javascript
•Good knowledge of different CMS systems (ModX an advantage)
•Web Project Direction support
•Assistance with Web Solutions proposals working with account managers and Directors
•Input into mind-mapping and wire-framing during planning process
•Website Scoping and client-facing Solution advice
•Good knowledge of mobile website technology such as Responsive Design
•Advise the Directors on new web technologies and applications in relation to the company's business strategy
•Implementation of Google Analytics & E-Commerce tracking
•Knowledge of SEO techniques
•Knowledge of W3C & Accessibility Standards
•Website database functionality (Commerce, Shopping Carts, Data Collection)
•Knowledge of social media APIs including Twitter and Facebook
•Ability to develop Facebook apps is preferable
•Knowledge of Google APIs an advantage
•Knowledge of multi-platform Website Testing processes
•Opportunity for Director level position as the company grows
