Marketing Programme Analyst (salesforce.com)

About the role

Unum is a leading Income Protection insurer, helping to bring financial security to over 1.8 million people in the UK and insuring around half of the FTSE 100 companies.

You’ll develop the Salesforce.com tool to help us deliver – and measure - marketing programmes that speak directly to brokers, direct customers and those in the field. Working closely with the Marketing Programmes team, you’ll increase our market share, making sure those new to the market hear our message loud and clear, and those who already know us are doing business with us more and more often.

Playing a major customer relationship management role, you’ll develop rigorous standards for our marketing programme, particularly around data entry and thorough framework testing. We’ll look to you to provide joined-up, consistent marketing across Salesforce.com. What’s more, the analysis and reports you produce will result in recommendations that are understood throughout the business – and acted on.

The skills you’ll need

You will be highly experienced at working with Salesforce.com and delivering successful marketing programmes, your data extraction and market analysis abilities are second-to-none (not least because of your strong skills with MS Excel and Access.) Finally, you’ll have strong relationship and influencing skills and will be used to working with staff at the highest level.

Our offices

We have offices throughout the UK. Our Head Office is based in Dorking, Surrey. Unum's two other main offices are situated in Bristol and Basingstoke.

Regional sales offices are located throughout the UK including offices in Birmingham, Glasgow, London and Manchester.

In addition, we employ a number of field staff who provide a national support network, assisting employers and individuals with services such as vocational rehabilitation.
