Senior Programme Manager - C4I Emergency Services Systems. A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Programme Manager to work for a leading high level electronics company's key site in Newport.
This organisation is a leading innovator of their chosen sector and is located in very easy reach of the M4. They hold an outstanding history in the design and development of electronic systems for the defence, security and aerospace markets. They also acting as one of the areas leading employers, this is a large organisation and can offer great long term employment and career prospects.
In particular this Senior Programme Manager role will be working on a number of interesting and next generation of projects in the areas of C4I Emergency Services Systems. As a Senior Programme Manager you will be key to the success of this technology and will be helping to develop large, complex systems used by several major client's world wide.

Responsibilities for this Senior Programme Manager - C4I Emergency Services Systems
- Overall accountability for a large programme delivering C4I systems into the emergency services domain.
- Ensure requirements of contract are flowed down to the programme team with clearly defined tasking
- Regular reporting of programme progress 'actuals' against forecast: schedule; milestones; product cost; programme cost and estimate to completion to Senior Management
- Manage sub-contractors and work partners to ensure contract requirements are achieved
- Monitor, review and prioritise work schedules with team and review programme resources
- Monitoring, management and mitigation of existing and new risks
Requirements for this Senior Programme Manager - C4I Emergency Services Systems
- Candidates must have specific experience of working with blue light emergency services systems covering forces like the Fire Brigade, Ambulance and Police.
- Worked as a Programme Manager delivering complex C4I Systems
- Able to travel both around the UK and International when required
- Broad experience of financial management
- Experience in team leadership
- Experience of business development
- Experience of leadership of multi-disciplined and matrixed teams
Due to the nature of the work at this site, applicants must be capable of achieving SC level UK security clearance. Current clearance is not a requirement.
